RESOLUTION DECERTIFYING TAX INCREMENT FINANCING
DISTRICT NO. 18 WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 IN THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Economic Development Authority of the City of
Elk River, Minnesota as follows:
WHEREAS,the EDA created Tax Increment Financing District No. 18 in
1998; and,
WHEREAS, TIF District No. 18 is not necessary as a financing mechanism of
proposed Morrell project; and,
WHEREAS, the continuance of TIF District No. 18 serves no public or
private purpose.
• THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the EDA of the City of Elk River as
follows:
I. That TIF District No. 18 shall be decertified on December 31, 1999.
II. That the EDA of the City of Elk River hereby directs staff to
take necessary step to decertify TIF District No.18 including
providing notification to Sherburne County and the Minnesota
State Auditor's Office.
Passed and adopted by the EDA of the City of Elk River this 9th day of
August, 1999.
