THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
FOR THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION 90 - 3
The Economic Development Authority for the City of Elk
River (the Authority) acting pursuant to its authority under
the Minnesota Economic Development Act (Minnesota Statutes
Sections 469.124, and et sea. ) hereby finds, determines,
resolves as follows:
Findings
1 . That the City wishes to continue with its Star City
designation.
2. That it is in the best interest of the City to plan
for purposes of Economic Development.
3 . That City staff has presented the Economic Development
Authority with long range economic development goals, a series
• of activities to pursue through a one year work plan for 1990,
and five year plan for economic development.
RESOLVED
A. That the Economic Development Authority for the City
of Elk River hereby adopts each and every one of the findings
set forth above.
B. That the Economic Development Authority for the City
of Elk River hereby adopts the one year work plan for 1990 as
presented by staff on March 12, 1990.
C. That the Economic Development Authority for the City
of Elk River hereby affirms its intent to remain a participant
of the Star Cities program.
The foregoing resolution was introduced by Commissioner
Kropuenske and duly seconded by Commissioner Holmgren.
The following votes in favor of the resolution:
Chairman Tralle, Commissioners Holmgren, Schuldt, Dobel, and
Kropuenske
The following voted against: None
The following were absent: None
