RES 16-17Councilmernbcr Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River isgr ateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of I -'Ilk River received a $16,000 donation froth The Bank of FIlk
River with the intent it be used by the Elk River Parks and Recreation Department .for
community events includin,(Z the Riverfront Concert Series, Farmers Market, and
Entertainment in the Park series.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend'I'he Bank of Flk River for their donation.
I'lie motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Couricilmcmber
Burandt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the followint), voted in favor thereof-,
Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Olsen, Westgaard, and Burandt
and the following against: - no one Nvhcreupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
