Approve,by motion,increase of$23,910 in professional services for extra work associated with the 2015
Street Improvement and Eastern Area Trail and Mobility projects.
Background/Discussion
Attached are two requests for additional fees associated with providing additional engineering services on
the 2015 Street Improvement and the Eastern Area Trail and Mobility Improvement projects. The
requests area summarized as follows:
■ 2015 Street Improvements —$20,233
■ Easter Area Trail and Mobility Improvements - $3,677
Staff has sat down to review these requests with the consultant. We agree the requests are fair for the
additional services provided on the projects.
Financial Impact
If approved the above amounts will be added to the current approved fees and become part of the final
project costs. The project funding sources are sufficient to cover these increases.

With this memo we are requesting additional fees in the amount of$20,233.00 for the additional work
completed and required for the 2015 Street Improvements project. Information below summarizes the
additional work to complete the construction of the 2015 Street Improvements project.
Construction Administration—$13,230
• Additional time was spent coordinating construction throughout the project, including time on
change orders 1 and 2.
• Cody Holmes- 122.5 hours at$108
Construction Observation -$7,003
• Additional time was spent completing observation on the project,including time on change orders
1 and 2.
• Additional observer time was needed during construction, city staff was not available to backfill,
so further time was spent onsite.
• Eathan Doyle-74.5 hours at$94
