Orono Park Skate Park
After the workshop which was held to kick off the process of developing a design for the
Orono Park skate park back on Thursday, March 03, a marketing plan was implemented to
gather information from user groups on what features are desired in a new park. The
primary method implemented was the creation of the Elk River Skate Park Facebook page.
Pictures of unique skate park elements have been posted on the page so users can comment
on if they like or dislike the feature. Spohn Ranch will now be talking the feedback provided
on the page to develop a concept plan. This plan will then be presented to a Community
Open house meeting later this spring to gather further feedback.
