I . Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Parks and
Recreation Commission was called to order at 6:32 p.m. by Vice -Chair Kallemeyn.
2. Consider 1/ 13/16 Agenda
• Moved by Commissioner Nystrom and seconded by Commissioner Niziolek
to approve the January 13, 2016, Parks and Recreation Commission meeting
agenda. Motion carried 4-0.
3. Consider 12/9/16 Regular PRC Minutes
Moved by Commissioner Nystrom and seconded by Commissioner Niziolek
to approve the following December 9, 2015 Parks and Recreation Commission
Minutes. Motion carried 5-0.
4. Open Forum - None
S. Park/Program Highlight
Mr. Benoit highlighted the annual Santa in the Park event held at River's Edge
Commons Park.
6. Action Items
6.1 Approval of 2016 PR Commission meeting calendar
Mr. Hecker presented his staff report.

Commissioner Holmgren shared a slide show presentation update.
11. William H. Houlton Conservation Area Committee Update
Mr. Hecker shared an update and that the demo of the buildings would start next
week. •

There being no further business, Vice -Chair Kallemeyn adjourned the meeting of the
Elk River Parks and Recreation Commission at 7:05 p.m.
