Mayor to administer the Oath of Office to the following on-call firefighters:

Background/Discussion
On September 19, 2015, seven firefighter recruits graduated from the Elk River Fire Academy, an intense
multi-month classroom and hands-on training program. Following completion of the academy, the
recruits had to successfully finish their one-year probationary period. On March 19, 2016, all seven
recruits came off probation.
Mayor Dietz is asked to administer the Oath of Office to the new firefighters. The oath will be
administered as a group.
Following the Oath, their badges will be pinned to their uniform.
