Background/Discussion
With the early spring thaw, the city adjusted the contract with SpeedCutters and added additional
mowing in late April as well as turf treatments.
The landscaping around the windmill sculpture will begin in the next 1-2 weeks and should only take
one day to complete. Plantings have been held off to ensure the plants are protected from late frost
Eke we had last week. The average annual last frost for this area of Minnesota is May 21st
The parking lot lighting project will take place sometime in late summer when contractors have
availability. Currently many of the contractors that have been contacted have relatively full
schedules and stated that pricing may be better in the fall when things slowdown from the main
constructions season.
