Action Requested
Approve, by motion, a temporary sales/storage of fireworks license to Renaissance Fireworks to sell
fireworks June 24, 2016, through July 6, 2016, from a tent in the Elk Park Center parking lot (19211-
19216 Freeport Street NW), with the following condition:
Inspection of the outside sales area will take place prior to opening to the public. Applicant is
responsible for contacting the fire marshal at 763.635.1110 to schedule an inspection after tent set up.
Background/Discussion
Renaissance Fireworks requests a temporary sales/storage of fireworks license to sell fireworks from a
tent in the Elk Park Center parking lot located at 19211-19216 Freeport Street NW. The Fire Department
has reviewed and approved the site plan and application.
A general planning permit is also required in order to conduct sales from a tent. The Site Plan Review
Committee has reviewed and approved the applicants request for a general planning permit.
