Backiround
The applicant is requesting a massage therapist license to practice therapeutic massage at
Avalon Salon located at 706 Main Street. The applicant has met the 500 hours of completed
course work and successfully cleared the background check. Tbe applicant will be working as
an independent contractor at the salon and therefore must also provide proof of insurance in
an amount not less than $500,000.
Action Requested
Council motion approving a therapeutic massage license to Dawn Nieters.
