In 2004 the city issued one billiard hall license to B&B Billiards. They appear to have gone
out of business and have not returned their renewal application for 2005.
ACTION REOUESTED
Per section 26-63 of the city code, grounds for denial of renewal of a tobacco license is
"Property taxes for the premises for which the license will be issued are delinquent." Council
should be aware that letters have been sent to Holiday Stationstore #90 (13445 Business
Center Drive) and to Jackson's Shop (356 Jackson Avenue) making them aware of
delinquent taxes.
Council motion approving renewal of the aforementioned licenses contingent upon
receiving all application materials, fees and taxes paid, and inspections being completed.
