RESOLUTION NO. 04 - 85
A RESOLUTION AMENDING mE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
TO CHANGE mE LAND USE FROM U (LIGlIT INDUSTRIAL)
TO HB (HIGHWAY BUSINESS)
Case No. LU 04-04
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure
for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday, October 26,2004
and recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the property
generally described as:
Lot 1, Block 1, Elk River Business Park
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request
and finds the following:
1. The proposed changes are in general conformance to the adopted
Comprehensive Plan.
2. The proposed land use plan amendment will allow commercial
development in an area with compatible uses.
NOW, mEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River
that the Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as described above from Light Industrial
to Highway Business.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 1" day of November, 2004.
