. Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Special Meeting of the Elk River Parks
and Recreation Commission was called to order at 6:3() ..,btn. by Chair Anderson.
2. Woodland Trials Park Master Plan
Mr. Sevcik shared staff report, stating that the final draft was sent to the Greater
Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission to meet the June 30,2016
deadline. This plan tan be amended as needed.
Councilmember Wagner asked if there is more to the paragraph on Page 12 because
it seemed unfinished.
Mr. Sevcik stated he believes pages might have been omitted between revisions and
will be added back in.
Councilmember Wagner shared that on page 7 the phrase"high quality"is used and
suggested to use"superior" as the adjective for marketing purposes.
Chair Anderson requested this item be added onto next commission meeting as an
action item.

4. Adjournment to Special Meeting
There being no further business, Chair Anderson adjourned the special meeting of
the Elk River Parks and Recreation Commission at 6:42 p.m.
