Background/Discussion
BUSINESS VISITS
We have completed 15 BR&E visits to date. The most recent visits were conducted at Lefebvre & Sons,
Inc., NOVCO, Inc. and Guardian Angels. One more is scheduled for July 28 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at
Anytime Fitness on Evans Street. Please don’t forget to RSVP Colleen if you are able to attend so we can
ensure there isn’t a quorum.
MISCELLANEOUS
Sherburne County Community Partner Meeting
This quarterly meeting is scheduled for July 27 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Friendly Buffalo in Big Lake.
This is a great opportunity for public officials and stakeholders within Sherburne County to learn more
about different program offerings and get updated on what is happening in our area. This event is well
attended, and I encourage everyone to attend. The agenda is attached.
Spectrum Running Track
Spectrum Schools has inquired about utilizing vacant property located at 17610 Tyler Street for a running
track for the fall cross country team. Staff has been working with Rick Peterson on a license agreement
between Spectrum High School and the EDA. This will be presented to the EDA for discussion and
action at the August 15 meeting.
Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament

Elk River Chamber of Commerce 25 Annual Pars & Stripes Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday,
July 21 at 8:00am at Riverwood National Golf Course in Otsego
