Chief of Police December 20. 2004 TO: FROM: SUBJECT: Hiring of new officer I am requesting permission from the Council to hire a replacement officer to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Officer Paul Schulte. Adam will be a very valuable asset to our department as our next new officer, and I hope that you support my request to both employ him and start him at the first year pay step. His first date of employment would be during the second week of January, 200S-depending on the 200S patrol schedule. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this new hire.
