Marketing
Beginning with the fall 2016 program season, the Parks and Recreation Program Guide will
no longer be printed and mailed to the public. Instead, more focus will be put on more
media based marketing approaches such as Facebook,e-mail,and Twitter. These
approaches will encourage the public to access the Parks and Recreation website where all of
our program offerings will be available to view and register for. The hope is that focusing
on marketing mediums that have a larger reach will encourage an increase in participation.
Skate Park
Spohn Ranch has completed the updating of the skate park design based on the most recent
feedback received from community feedback. The committee is now meeting to review the
design. The plan will then be presented to the Parks and Recreation Commission at the
September meeting.
