The Elk River Fire Department recently received a donation in the amount of $lfOOO.OO
from the Eddy Foundation. The funds will be used toward the purchase of flreflshting
equipment. '
Attached is a resolution acknowledging the Eddy Foundation contribution to th1 Fire
Department. !

The City Council adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the contribution 4rom the
Eddy Foundation pursuant to MN Statute ~ 465.03.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
I
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, orgapizations,
and individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $1,000.00 donation fro~ the
Eddy Foundation with the intent it be used by the Elk River Fire De~artment
for the purchase of fire fighting equipment; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council df the City
of Elk River to acknowledge the support and commend the Eddy Fo~ndation
for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 3rd day of
January 2005.
