Spectrum Charter School Expansion

Provide direction for Spectrum School concept plan.
Background/Discussion
In June, 2016, Spectrum School provided a concept review for their proposed expansion in North Star
Business Park. Council expressed a number of concerns regarding their expansion location during the
meeting.
Spectrum officials have met individually with a couple of Council Members and held a meeting with city
staff. Their expansion plans include the use of a federal grant which includes a specific timeline.
Following their post-meeting discussions, they are looking for further concerns/issues before moving
forward.
