City Council Report
At the recent budget meeting with Will Hollerich,Mayor Dietz indicated he could not support an
additional$500 for programming stating that the city of Elk River is already contributing more than
other cities. All council members concurred with the Mayor and denied the additional funding.
Also,note that the city paid off the remainder of the library bond totaling$2.26M in February of
this year.
The 'Whimsical Windmill' signage is complete. Looks great !
The library board did a great job placing the Windmill artwork,next to native prairie and the
butterfly garden
