Library Community Room Rentals
Staff have been working with the Elk River Library staff to take over the management of the
Library Community Room. This change was implemented due to library polices that make it
difficult for the library to hold deposits for the room. The Library will still have priority to
schedule their events first before the general community. The Parks and Recreation
Department does now have additional options to also utilize the room for programs.
Orono Skate Park Project
The skate park design was presented to the Council at the Monday, October 3rd meeting.
Overall the design was well received by the Council and was officially approved. The next
step is for Spohn Ranch Skateparks to begin producing the design documents. An estimated
delivery of the 90% documents is early November.
