SUBJECT: Authorization to Hire Parks and Recreation Receptionist
Background
A Park and Recreation Department part time receptionist position has been vacant since
November 2004. The job was posted in December and sixty applications were received.
After the interviewing process, staff offered the job to Tonya Love. Tonya has experience
working for the City of Brooklyn Park, Parks and Recreation Department, and is currendy
employed by the Community Education, Anoka/Hennepin School District.
Starting Pay
. Pay Grade 5
. Level A ($12.49 per hour)
Action Requested
Authorize the hire of Tonya Love as part time receptionist at pay grade 5; level A pending
completion of police background check.
