SUBJECT: Personnel Committee Recommendation
The Personnel Committee has reviewed the new Recreation Coordinator position being created in
the Recreation Department. Based on the position description provided to the Committee, the
following point value and pay grade are recommended for this position:

Typically, the PC does not recommend a point value for a new position. However, in this
case, this position is very similar to the existing Senior Citizen Coordinator position with the
exception that the Recreation Coordinator will be doing programming for a different
segment of the population. Because the positions are so similar, the PC was comfortable
recommending a point value.
Action Requested
The Council is asked to consider the Personnel Committee recommendation as stated above,
