Action Requested
Receive information on the HRA Housing Rehabilitation Program.
Background/Discussion
There are three new applicants in the program. Last month the HRA approved one homeowners
mortgage and satisfaction agreement which started the process, one otomeowner is completing the
lead-based paint inspection and one had an initial inspection. The lead paint inspections are required for
houses built before 1979. The costs of the inspections are paid through the rehabilitation fun
not by individual home owners.
Eight projects have been completed to date. Over $167,044 has been disbursed over the three-year
rehabilitation program period. Monthly installment payments are
are up-to-date.
