• Discuss the appointment of a Commission member to the Ice Arena Commission
• Recommend,by motion, a Commission member to the Ice Arena Commission.
Background/Discussion
The Parks and Recreation Commission representative seat on the Ice Arena Commission is currently
vacant. City Code dictates the Arena Commission to have a Parks and Recreation Commission member.
Mike Niziolek and Ryan Holmgren have both served on the Arena Commission.
The Arena Commission only has two regulars meetings and usually 1-2 special meetings per year. City
Council will need to approve the Commission member recommended.
