River Edge Commons Park Expansion Rivers Edge Commons construction is continuing to progress. Sunram Construction's electrical subcontractor completed work on all below grade electrical improvements earlier this week and installed the new cabinet that will house the electrical controls as well as the WiFi equipment. They will complete the final electrical connections in the cabinet by early next week. Sunram's primary crew is continuing to set the stone seat walls in place this week and intends to be complete with the seat walls early next week. Once complete with the seat walls they will begin work on final grading in preparation for pavers, concrete curbing and asphalt. This work could begin as early as next week Wednesday, however will depend on subcontractor scheduling. All hard surfaces are scheduled to be complete by November 18th. Irrigation, turf and landscaping will be conducted in the next two weeks. The project is currently slated to be substantially complete by the end of November. Delays resulting in the later completion date included the additional electrical conduit, changes to the storm water plan, and weather and crew availability by the contractor who is conducting a trail project in Rogers. The trail project in Rogers is wrapping up this week which should allow the contractor to shift focus back to Rivers Edge Commons. The project must be completed in May,2017. William H.
