6.0. SWCSR 12-01-2016 Production Report November 2016
Well, things are slowing down. Been spending a lot of time editing. Helped Bill with a couple of Viebit
images. Been out and about with a camera on our few non cloudy days. Also this month I've been to
several cities as a backup cable caster. I went to Watertown a couple of times, once with the trailer the
second without. The second time was our snow day, I wasn't sure how much snow we would get,so I
opted to do a single camera shoot and plug the camera audio into their mixer. Not an ideal situation,
but it worked and their meetings got recorded. Bill and the boys were there working on their AV room
and helped me immensely in getting hooked up to audio and insuring that the council chamber monitors
worked correctly for the meeting.
I helped with Buffalo, Big Lake, and Dassel city council meetings as well.
The evening before Election Day I logged into several cities Nexus' and removed their candidate forums
so they would not be broadcast on Election Day.
I was asked to provide AV support for a Big Lake Veterans day program. We set up the indoor screen
and projector, and a couple of Bose speakers and mics for their program.
Maple Lake also had a program at the school that they had students record. I edited this program,
added titles and removed several"dead air" minutes of people walking to and from the mic, and other
"nothing happening" moments.
I also recorded a Delano Chamber of Commerce program "Celebrating Manufacturing." The Chamber
highlighted a longtime industrial park manufacturer. I used the tricaster but due to live event timing, I
ended up editing the program to remove some unmic'd questions and other miscellaneous off topic
events during the program,as well as several of those"dead air/nothing happening" minutes.
Coming up in December, I have, tomorrow night, the Delano Xmas tree lighting,Saturday,Christmas in
Delano, and Saturday night, the Watertown Christmas Tree Lighting.
Also for you Elvis Fans, Elvis is returning to Delano! December 10th is Antony Shore singing Elvis. Antony
is by far my favorite Elvis. What sets him apart is that he doesn't pretend to be Elvis, he just sings Elvis
songs in an Elvis style. Between songs, he isn't trying to be Elvis. (How many times did I type Elvis?)
Antony has a great stage presence and is very entertaining. On the plus side, he sings on key!
Thanks
Mark
