DISCUSSION:
At the November Commission Meeting,the final approval of our auditors was completed.
Direction was provided to come back with actual cuts reflecting a sacrifice made to offset the
fees increase from our auditors that results in retaining them from the RFP process. The budget
presented in agenda item 4.2 reflects a decrease of$3,500 as follows. 2017 was the year that I
was slated to attend the MMUA Summer Meeting and I will not be attending, resulting in a
savings of approximately $1,550. The remaining approximate $2,000 savings will be achieved
with reduced supplies purchases. Note there is still an increase in this line item from the
previous year,just not the full increase originally projected.
