Dear Mr. Harlicker,

On behalf of Elk River Area School District, I hereby request
that the requirement of Class 5 being applied to the temporary
parking lot at the High School site be waved. We believe that this
would not be the prudent action to take since it would cost the district
about $6000 and would be removed in the spring. We did not have a
problem with the lot during the past year and do not expect problems
this year. I believe that the requirements of the construction projects
will necessitate completing Phase II of the parking lot as soon as
possible.
