Background/Discussion
At the December 5, 2016, City Council meeting,Mayor Dietz identified Council appointments. Terms are
set per city policy and ordinance and should be confirmed with each appointment.

The Economic Development Authority determines who sits on the EDA Finance Committee. It consists
of 7 members: two EDA and the rest are at large members representing various groups,including
banking,real estate,law, and general community. At the last meeting, Council expressed interest in
appointing Councilmember Olsen to the EDA Finance Committee. The EDA will be interviewing
candidates,including Olsen, at their next meeting.
