An Ordinance Amending the 2017 Master Fee Schedule of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota, City Code
The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows:
Policy and Purpose: By the enactment of this Ordinance, the City Council intends to
establish fees and charges required by the City Code for the year 2017 and to comply with
Minnesota Statutes, 462.353, sub. 4.
2. Fees and Charees: The fees and charges for the city for the year 2017 areas set forth on
attached Exhibit A and B.
3. Application: Where a direct conflict exists between the amount of a fee or charge set by any
provision of the City Code and a fee or charge set by this Ordinance, the fee or charge set by
this Ordinance applies.
This ordinance shall take effect January 1, 2017.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 19th day of December, 2016.

APPROVING NOTICE OF
SUMMARY PUBLICATION
OF ORDINANCE
#16-29 AN ORDINANCE
ADOPTING THE 2017
MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, on December 19th,
2016, the Elk River City Council ad-
opted Ordinance 16-29 approving
the 2017 Master Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the enactment of
this ordinance establishes fees and
charges required by the City Code
and to comply with Minnesota Stat-
utes 462.353, sub.4; and
WHEREAS, the 2017 Master Fee
Schedule lists fees and charges for
Administrative, Financial, Environ-
mental, Planning, Development,
Building, Parks and Recreation,
Fire, Police, and Elk River Munici-
pal Utility services along with code
enforcement violations; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the full
text of the ordinance is available
for inspection by any person at the
office of the Elk River City Clerk,
13065 Orono Parkway, during reg-
ular business hours - 8:00 a.m. to
4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE R RE-
SOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Elk River, Minnesota, as fol-
lows: by at least four-fifths vote,
authorizes the publication of the
title and summary of Ordinance 16-
29 and that Ordinance 16-29 shall
become effective January 1, 2017.
