Resolution No. 16- 92
A Resolution of the City Council of the Citgo of Elk River Amending Figure 5-
2, Land Use Map, of the Comprehensive Flan adopted May 19, 2014
WHEREAS, on May 19, 2014, the City Council approved the City of Elk River
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, Figure 5-2 of the Comprehensive Plan is the Land Use Map for the City of
Elk River; and
WHEREAS, the Land Use Map requires updating to correct errors and reflect
amendments approved since May 19, 2014; and
WHEREAS, an updated Land Use Map has been prepared for incorporation into the
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Elk River Planning Commission held a public hearing on November 22,
2016, regarding the updated Land Use Map and recommended to the City Council the
Comprehensive Plan be amended to incorporate the updated Land Use Map; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on December 19, 2016, regarding the
updated Land Use Map; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the Comprehensive Plan should be amended to
incorporate the updated Land Use Map.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows: Figure 5-2, Land Use Map, of the Elk River Comprehensive
Plan, adopted May 19, 2014, shall be amended to incorporate the attached Exhibit A.
