Subject: TOBACCO COMPLIANCE CHECKS
This is to infbnn the city council that the police department and
Sherburne County Public Health conducted tobacco compliance
checks in our city on November 16~ 2000. Of the twenty-four (24)
license holders~ four (4) of them sold tobacco products to minors.
The four (4) businesses are Holiday convenience store at 13345
Business Center Drive~ Cub Foods at 19216 Freeport Street, Snyder
Drug at 804 Freeport Avenue~ and Rons Foods at 321 Baldwin
Avenue.
As required by City Ordinance~ administrative sanctions will have to
be imposed. Sandy Peine~ City Clerk~ and I will keep you apprised of
this issue.
