Action Requested
Approve, by motion, the 2017 City Council meeting schedule.
Background/Discussion
Per state law, a schedule of the regular meetings of the City Council must be kept on file with the city
clerk's office and posted on the city's bulletin board.
Regular Council meetings are scheduled for the first and third Mondays of each month. Four meetings
have been rescheduled to Tuesdays due to holidays.
A few items to note:
1. The first meeting in July falls on Monday, July 3. Independence Day is Tuesday, July 4.
2. The local Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting has been scheduled for Monday, April 10.
Two special budget work sessions are tentatively scheduled for Monday, August 14 and Monday,
September 11.
