Staff Update
DISCUSSION:
• ERMU staff met with representatives from Fresh Energy to discuss the opportunities of
electric vehicle purchases through the state bid process. Support is growing throughout
Minnesota. The state has communicated that they may purchase 25 electric vehicles in
2017.
• With the addition of EV car charging customers, staff is working to update the wiring
diagrams on ERMU website for electrical contractor's reference.
• December was a very busy month for residential appliances as customers get ready for
the new year and catching up on paper work.
• Completed all contracts for the electric vehicle charging equipment, master service
agreement, and FleetCarma EV Suitability Assessment.
• Jolene Fenn-Jansen received her Business Generalist Certificate from Anoka-Ramsey
Community College. Jolene is utilizing the ERMU Educational Assistance Policy. This

policy allows eligible employees to be reimbursed costs after successfully completing
course work that are related to their jobs.
