SUBJECT: Renewal of Solid Waste Collection Licenses

Solid waste collection licenses expire annually on December 31. Fees
associated with license renewal are $60.00 for the company's first truck, and
$15.00 for each additional truck.
Twelve companies have applied for a city refuse license in 1999, which
include the following:
Ace Solid Waste
Best Disposal Services
BFI of Minnesota
Corrow Sanitation
JME of Monticello
Pretzel's Sanitation
Randy's Sanitation
SCS Roff-Off Services
Superior Services - Central MN Inc.
Superior Services - St. Paul
Walter's Recycling & Refuse
Waste Management Inc.
ACTION REQUESTED
Motion to approve solid waste collection licenses.
