SUBJECT: Amendment to Council Motion
regarding Lafayette Woods Third
Addition Final Plat, Case No. P 99-4
Reauest
Windsor Development, the applicant, requests that the City Council continue
discussion of Lafayette Woods Third Addition Final Plat on March 1st rather
than on March 15th.
Overview
.
On February 16, the City Council made a motion to continue discussion on
the Final Plat of Lafayette Woods Third Addition until March 15th. The
motion that passed read:
COUNCILMEMBER THOMPSON MOVED TO CONTINUE THE REQUEST BY
WINDSOR DEVELOPMENT FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL (LAFAYETTE WOODS
THIRD ADDITION) P 99-4, TO THE MARCH 15, 1999, CITY COUNCIL MEETING
WITH THE CONDITION THAT THE DEVELOPER SUBMIT A DETAILED BUFFER
PLAN AGREED TO BY THE RIDGEWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION AND
THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED
THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
The applicant is scheduled to meet with the Ridgewood Homeowners
Association on February 24th, to resolve the outstanding issues. The timing
of the Final Plat is important to the applicant so he can acquire bank
financing and secure the sale of lots in the development.
Action Requested
That the City Council amend the motion made on February 16th to read:
