A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Establishing a No
Parking Zone on the South Side of Business Center Drive, Adjacent to
Address 13880
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River owns and maintains Business Center Drive past the
Sherburne County Government Center; and
WHEREAS, Sherburne County has requested on -street parking to be restricted to increase
safety for the public safety personnel entering and leaving their site; and
WHEREAS, Sherburne County has provided ample off-street parking for their employees
and visitors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Elk
River, Minnesota:
Parking of motor vehicles on the south side of Business Center Drive adjacent to the
Government Center located at 13880 Business Center Drive be banned, and further
authorize public works staff to install the required signs.
Passed and adopted this 21" day of February, 2017.
