Background/Discussion
A presentation will be given by Max Freeze and Ashley Nething on the recent volunteer effort removing
buckthorn at the William H. Houlton Conservation Area. They were two of the more than 40 volunteers
who teamed up on Saturday, February 25 with our department and the Friends of the Mississippi River
to drag,pile and burn buckthorn as part of the property restoration.
