1.Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the workshop meeting of the Elk River Planning
Commission was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Johnson.
2.2.1 Discussion Ï Keeping of Chickens in Urban Areas
Staff and the Planning Commission discussed the possibility of amending the cityÔs
ordinances to allow the keeping of chickens on parcels within th
Staff noted that a survey would be posted to the cityÔs social media pages to gauge resident
support for the amendment. If the community supports the amendme
item will appear on a future agenda.
2.2 Discussion Ï Land Use and Zoning Processes
Staff and the Planning Commission reviewed land use and zoning processes.
