Subject: Council Update for March Library Board Meeting
Council passed at its 2/21/17 meeting a resolution requesting GRRL to provide a
proposal to change library hours and increase overall operating hours by 3. The
following is current hours versus proposed:

Monday 10-8 10-8
Tuesday 12-8 10-8
Wednesday 10-8 10-8
Thursday 12-8 10-8
Friday 10-5 10-5
Saturday 9-2 10-2
+ 3 hours overall
Council had a work session at its 3/6/17 meeting where GRRL's response to Council's
requests was reviewed. GRRL did not agree with any of Council's requests and kept all
the terms of their original agreement presented to the Council. Consensus was from the
work session to move forward with GRRL's agreement which will likely be approved at
3/20/17 Council meeting.
