Action Requested
Open the public hearing,receive comment, and continue the public hearing to the May 15, 2017, City
Council meeting.
Background/Discussion
Case Nos. CU 17-08, P 17-03, and ZC 17-03
Staff and the applicant are exploring alternative designs to the traffic patterns in the larger area to
accommodate the county plans for a designated right turn lane for Highway 10 on Proctor Avenue, the
quiet zone as it relates to the railroad crossing at Proctor, and to better position remaining property for
commercial development.
Statutory Review Period
Per State Statute 15.99, the required 60-day review period was extended to June 27, 2017.
Council Meeting
If acted on by the Planning Commission on April 25, 2017, this item will go to the May 15, 2017, City
Council meeting.

Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 15.99, the 60 day time frame for your Conditional Use Permit
application (CU 17-08) has been extended in order to explore alternative designs to you application
as they relate to traffic patterns.
The 60 day time limit was to expire on April 28, 2017 but now has been extended to June 27, 2017.
