He then went to Cloud, MN. He graduated from St. Cloud the Sherburne County Sheriffs Office in 1996 working as a — Apollo High School in 1990. patrol deputy. Sheriff Brott attended Alexandria Brott received several promotions over the years to Technical College and earned a law Investigator, Investigative Sergeant, Captainof Investigations, enforcement degree in 1992. Sheriff and then to Sheriff in 2009. Brott also graduated from the National FBI Academy in 2007. As Sheriff of Sherburne County, Brott leads, not only the 120 member law enforcement portion of the office but, the 190 Brott began his law enforcement career with the Minneota employees in the Sherburne County Jail. Explorer Shianna Ganoe was recognized for saving a choking victim's life using first aid skills learned in Exploring. • Eagle Scout Brian Amundson gained state-wide attention for building an archery range at Mississippi River County Park, north of Sartell. • The BeatBotz Robotics team from Sartell Troop 211 made it to the VEX Worlds competition in Louisville, Kentucky. ' • Lion Cubs pilot program kicked off in the fall with 136 kindergarten boys. • National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) held at Parker Scout Camp provided 28 Boy Scouts with the skills to be effective Troop leaders. • Our council held its third Wood Badge course and trained 22 adult leaders and produced 110 projects to improve Scouting in central Minnesota. • Our Soles4Souls shoe drive collected over 14,000 pairs of shoes from all across central Minnesota for people in need around the world. • Our Packs, Troops, and Crews provided 23,180 hours of community service. • 425 Scoutreach participants, funded by United Way and Capital One 360. • Our council achieved Gold Council status in the Journey to Excellence Metrics. CAMPING EXPERIENCES • 668 Cub Scouts, Webelos, and adults attended summer resident camp. • 105 Boy Scouts and adults participated in the Council South Fall Camporee 2016. • 299 Cub Scouts, Webelos, and adults participated in Camp Nanuq winter camp. • 31 Boy Scouts and adults participated in winter camps at Parker Scout Camp. • 373 youth and 124 adults attended Ripley Rendezvous 2016 "CSI: Ripley".
