VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 12, 1890
A special meeting of the village council of the Village of Elk River was held at the Recorder’s office
on Tuesday evening, August 12, 1890.
Present: D. R. Houlton, Wm. E. Cory, K.H. Burrell
Upon motion of W. E. Cory, William Eddy was duly elected to the office of Poundkeeper in said
village and will hold the same until the next village election, or until otherwise ordered by the Village
Council; and also that the barn and barnyard of said William Eddy (be) and the same is hereby
designated as a public pound during the said Eddy’s term of office. The said William Eddy elected
to take the place of Geo. Malcomb, removed. Ayes: Cory, Burrell and Houlton.
The President to notify Eddy.
