VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
November 9, 1891
Council met at 7:30 .
Present: C.S. Wheaton, D.R. Houlton, E.E. Bryant
The following bills were presented and on motion, allowed:
S.A. McNeal, work on streets $ 2.50
Will Gliff, work on streets $ 1.50
E.P. Mills & Sons, use of team in streets $ .75
D.R. Houlton, work with grader $12.00
David Fryer, work on streets $ 3.00
S.A. McNeal, work on streets $ 3.00
J.W. Glassford, signal flags $ 7.50
P. Clute, work on strets $ 1.25
Chas. Mansur, work on streets $ 1.50
D.R. Houlton, work on streets $ 2.00
H.O. Nickerson, straw used on streets $ 5.00
On motion, it was voted to assess a tax for the year of two mills on each dollor of taxable property
in the village.
