VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 30, 1892
Council met in regular session.
Present: C.S. Wheaton, Lewis and Houlton
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
D.R. Houlton, balance on road work $121.90
L.L. Chaffin, blacksmith work $ 9.15
John Hayward, building pound $ 5.00
A.N. Dan, painting $ 2.35
Wm. Shorry, nails $ 1.58
Independent School Dist., paint for bridge $ 11.40
J.F. Lewis & Co., paint for bridge $ 12.90
The report of D.R. Houlton as to work done in roads was presented and on motion accepted.
It appearing that H.E. Thomas had secured permission of K.H. Burrell to put in a set of hay scales
in front of the Burrell building, on motion it was decided to permit the same to be done, the same to
be done under and by the instructions of the Council.
On motion, adjourned.
