VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
October 21, 1892
Council met in special session.
Present: D.R. Houlton, N.K. Whittman, J.F. Lewis, and E.E. Bryant
In the absence of President Wheaton, on motion D.R. Houlton was appointed Chairman pro-tem.
The resignation of Chas. S. Wheaton as President of the Council was read and on motion laid over
until the next meeting.
On motion W.B. Eaton, G.B. Upshaw and Geo. W. Libby were appointed as a Board of Health,
whose terms shall expire on the second Tuesday in January 1893. W.B. Eaton was made Health
Officer with a salary of $50 from now until the expiration of his term of office.
The bill of W.H. Houlton, $251.71, for lumber and tiling was presented and on motion allowed.
On motion, adjourned.
