VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 9, 1893
Council met at 7:30 p.m..
Present: D.R. Houlton, acting president; N.K. Whittman; J.F. Lewis and E.E. Bryant
The report of the Village Treasurer was presented. Showing balance on hand to the credit of the
village at this date of $116.23. On motion the same was accepted, approved and ordered filed with
the Recorder for the record.
The report of the Board of Auditors, prepared by the Recorder, was presented, showing the
disbursements of said village from January 4, 1892 to December 31, 1892 and the assets and
liabilities of said village on said last named date. On motion the same was accepted, approved and
ordered filed with the Recorder for record.
The Council proceeded to examine and compare all orders drawn during the fiscal year ending
January 9, 1983 and finding all correct, the same were cancelled.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
D.R. Horton, road work $ 1.00
E.E. Bryant, Recorder’s salary $35.00
W.B. Eaton, Health Officer $32.00
On motion, adjourned.
