April 30,1894
Council met in regular session.
Present: D.R. Houlton, President; A. Davis; F.W. Hildreth; J.F. Lewis; E.E. Bryant,
Recorder.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved
The fill of S.W. Barrett, $1.50, hauling snow for crossings, was in motion allowed.
Complaint having been made to the Council in regard to the riding of bicycles upon the village
sidewalks, in motion the following resolution was adopted:
Resolved, that riders of bicycles and other machines of like character are request to refrain from the
use of the sidewalk while riding; and further
Resolved, that if this request is not complied with, and further complaints are made, an ordinance
prohibiting such use of the sidewalks will be passed by the Council and strictly enforced.
