VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
September 15, 1894
Council met at 7:30 p.m.
Present: D.R. Houlton, President; A. Davis; J.F. Lewis; E.E. Bryant, Recorder.
On motion the sum of $60.00 was appropriated for the sufferers by the forest fires at Hinckley and
other towns, and the recorder was instructed to draw his warrant in favor of the Treasurer for said
amount of $60.00.
The following bills were presented and in motion allowed:
P. Nelson, street work, $45.75
D.R. Houlton, balance due in village work, $73.11
Report of D.R. Houlton as to road and street work was in motion accepted, approved and ordered
filed for record.
On motion adjourned.
