VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 2, 1895
Council met at 7:30 o’clock at the Recorder’s office.
Present: Chas. S. Wheaton, President; J.F. Lewis, Trustee; Andrew Davis, Recorder
The application of V.B. Rubeck for liquor license was presented . The council being satisfied that
the same was in due form and that notice of the same had been duly published according to law, on
motion the issue was accepted.
On motion the bond of V.B. Rubeck was accepted, approved and ordered filed with the Recorder
for record.
Albert Bailey took the oath of office according to law.
On motion Recorder was authorized to issue liquor license to V.B. Rubeck, on presentation of
receipt of $500 from Treasurer.
On motion meeting adjourned at 9 o’clock.
